Full Itinerary
Day 1: Beijing Arrival
Warmly welcome you to Beijing the capital. Upon your arrival, be met and transferred to the pre-arranged hotel by our friendly local tour guide. Feast on special welcome breakfast and rest at leisure for the remainder of the day.
Day 2: Beijing (B, L)
Savor the hearty breakfast in the hotel before taking a drive to the first place of Beijing morning tour- Tiananmen Square, the world’s largest square. Spend some time roaming around the area then head to the Forbidden City that is not far from it. The magnificent palace complex of beautiful architectural style was previously the residence of generations of emperors.
Next, enjoy the special lunch with Beijing specialties. In the afternoon, follow the tour guide to the Summer Palace- the ancient resort for the imperial during the summertime to admire the marvelous gardens and architecture.
Afterward, reach the famous constructions built for the 2008 Summer Olympics and Paralympics, which are Bird’s Nest - Beijing National Stadium and the Water Cube - National Aquatics Center.
At the end of the day, transfer back to the hotel for relaxing.
Day 3: Beijing (B)
Fill up energy for the new itinerary with a buffet breakfast. Wander around the Sanyuanli market where you can grab a variety of local food and snacks for today’s trip. Then pay a visit to the Mutianyu Great Wall located about 70 kilometers from Beijing. Explore the iconic landmark contributed 1400 years ago and enjoy the spectacular sights from the World’s Heritage.
After the Great Wall visit, return to the city for an exploration of Confucius Temple and the Imperial College Museum. Then either stroll around or take a rickshaw ride across Wudaoying Hutong to catch a glimpse of the Beijing local lifestyle.
Afterward, the tour guide will drive you back to the hotel. Have time at your leisure.
Day 4: Beijing - Xian (B)
After breakfast served in hotel, the tour guide will pick up and bring you to the highlighted Temple of Heaven where ceremonies and rituals were performed to pray for a good harvest and the peace of the whole country.
Head to the Beijing West railway to check-in for your 5-hour trip by high-speed train to Xian. Upon the arrival into Xian North station, be met and escorted to the reserved hotel. Relax in your comfortable room or explore the city by yourself for the rest of the day.
Day 5: Xian (B, L)
A new day of discovering the imperial Xian begins with a flavorful breakfast. Today’s first highlight is the Terracotta Army. This incredible ancient wonder, known as the world’s largest underground lifelike warrior figures is a precious archeological discovery.
Return to the city center, take some refreshments and have a fascinating experience in the symbol of the Xian, the ancient City Wall. Walk or take a bike ride along China’s largest and best-preserved among its type of wall and admire the iconic view of the city. Continue to release yourself in the quiet Great Mosque the oldest and largest Islamic mosque in China. Then taste the wide range of mouthwatering local food in the bustling Muslim Street.
Before a good rest in the hotel, pay a visit to the famous Bell Tower and Drum Tower Square.
Day 6: Xian - Chengdu (B)
Check out from the hotel after breakfast. Follow the tour guide to the Shaanxi History Museum where you are introduced to over 370000 Chinese relics. Go further to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda – an iconic pagoda of 1400-year-old city Xian.
Be transferred to the railway station to board the bullet train trip to Chengdu. Once stepping your foot in Chengdu, be met by our dedicated local tour guide and driven to the city hotel.
For the remainder of the day, explore Chengdu on your own at leisure.
Day 7: Chengdu (B, L)
Enjoy the breakfast in the hotel before paying a visit to the Dujiangyan Panda Base. Today, you will have a one-of-a opportunity to experience a working day of the panda keepers. Each panda volunteer will help to clean the indoor and outdoor enclosure, prepare the food, feed and play with the lovely animal under the supervision of the keepers. Have fun and gain a certificate as a memento from this special day. You also savor the lunch with the other staffs in the panda center.
As the sun sets, drive back to the hotel and relax.
Day 8: Chengdu - Shanghai (B)
Feast on breakfast before being driven to Jinli Street. Have a first-hand experience on the unique regional street, dive in the colorful local culture, grab a bite on the traditional food snacks and admire the delicacy of the artisans’ handicrafts. Continue the journey with a visit to Wangjiang Pavilion Park. Feel the peace inside when enjoying a cup of fragrant Chinese tea among the rare bamboo trees.
Be taken to the airport for your flight to the final destination - Shanghai. Upon the arrival, our guide will wait to transfer you to the Shanghai hotel.
Free time for the rest of the day.
Day 9: Shanghai (B, L)
After breakfast, the morning tour in Shanghai begins with a visit to the Shanghai Museum where houses over 140000 artifacts revealing the full history and culture of this thriving metropolis. Then stroll along The Bund and let yourself immersed in the prestigious part as well as the typical example of the city’s glamour. Continue to busiest shopping street throughout the country Nanjing Road.
Enjoy the local food before gazing out at marvelous Yuyuan Garden famous for beautiful natural scenery dotted with incredible sculptures and carvings. Not far from it is the Chenghuangmiao bazaars where you can catch a glance at the building complex recalling traditional Chinese architecture. For the rest of the afternoon, pay a visit to the Former French Concession. Wander around the quiet streets of Dongping Road or Sinan Road and discover the essence of Shanghai classic life.
Transfer back to the hotel for a good rest.
Day 10: Shanghai Departure (B)
Savor the breakfast before packing up your luggage and checking out from the hotel. The tour ends. Wish luck on your onward adventure.
