Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Xian (D)
Upon your arrival in Xian, the ancient capital of China, be warmly welcomed by the private guide and driver at the airport and transferred to the downtown hotel in Xian. Check-in the hotel and take a rest before dinner.
If you feel active go down streets and explore the Old City Wall because at night it is decorated with red lanterns and illuminated by lights.
Day 2: Xian Tour (B, L)
Today, have breakfast at the hotel and get energy for yourselves to set on the tour. The tour route is Chinese Herbal Medicine Market, Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Bell Tower.
Along the way to the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, we will stop to visit Chinese Herbal Medicine Market, in which you can see local farmers and herbal medicine wholesales sale a wide spectrum of Chinese herbal medicines and medicinal foods. You will have chances to observe the local lively market and glance at the traditional Chinese medicine. Get to the Museum of Terracotta Army, a miracle in the world's archaeological history. This place is home to thousands of life-sized warriors from 2000 years ago. After that, we come back to downtown Xian and visit Bell Tower, which is a historical architecture of the city.
Lunch is included. Dinner is on your own.
Day 3: Arrival Chengdu (B, D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Then pack up and meet our tour guide and driver at the lobby of the hotel. After that, they will take you to the airport. Catch a flight to Chengdu – Panda sanctuary.
Upon your arrival in Chengdu, you will be met by your local guide and then be transferred to your hotel. Check-in and relax before dining in at the hotel.
Day 4: Chengdu / Wolong (B, L)
Get up early and transfer to Wolong. Breakfast servings are on your way, today we go sightseeing Wolong Nature Reserve, Wolong Giant Panda Museum.
Upon our arrival in Wolong, we will visit the Wolong Nature Reserve. The panda basement is a key nature preservation area built fundamentally to protect and reproduce the grand panda. In 1982, UNESCO put it into the collection of "the International Reserve Net of Man and Biosphere." It is located in the transition area from the Qinghai and Tibet Plateau to the Sichuan Basin with a cool climate. The favorable weather and geography conditions contribute a lot to the preservation and reproduction of several living beings. Lunch at a local restaurant nearby.
In the afternoon, we continue with the "China Wolong Giant Panda Museum", where displays the history, present and future of the giant panda. Besides, you can learn some detailed information about: the living environment, historical evolution, living habits and characteristics and neighbors of the giant panda; the breeding, reproduction, protection research and natural reserves of the giant panda; research achievements in cooperation with international organizations and institutions who are concerned with the giant panda. All these uncover the myth of the giant panda.
Later in the afternoon, return to the hotel.
Day 5: Wolong / Chengdu (B, L)
Having breakfast in the morning and enjoy leisure time until you are transferred back to Chengdu. After the return to Chengdu, we will fist visit Wuhou Memorial Temple. The Temple is dedicated to the Martial Marquis of Shu in the Three Kingdoms, Zhuge Liang. His outstanding intelligence made him the best of all emperors, generals, and ministers in history.
Afterward, we will stroll along Jinli Street which is the iconic symbol of this city. Jinli Street was well known for baldachin - a rich, ornate cloth since the Qin Dynasty (221 BC - 206 BC). In the reign of the Shu Kingdom (221-263) it became one of the busiest commercial streets. Thus, it is also considered as 'First Street of the Shu Kingdom'. You will be transferred to the hotel.

Day 6: Chengdu (B, L)
The tour route for today is to sightsee: Thatched Cottage of Dufu, Chengdu Panda Breeding Research Base, Wangjiang Park
The first destination is the Thatched Cottage of Dufu, nearby the Huanhua Stream in Chengdu's western suburb. Du Fu (712-70 AD), one of China's most famous poets, left home at the tender age of 20, becoming a court official at the former capital in Chang'an (near Xi'an). Du Fu's civil service duties were interrupted because he was captured by rebels and forced to escape the city for Chengdu after only a few years. In this small and simple house in Chengdu, Du Fu got the inspiration to write more than 200 poems which are considered today as masterpieces of realist poetry.
Then we will visit the Chengdu Panda Breeding Research Base, which was built to imitate the wild ecological environment of pandas. The base covers a vast area, created a perfect ecological environment for pandas, other precious and rare wild animals. This place is home to over 20 pandas, lesser pandas, black-necked cranes, white cranes, and others.
At the end of the trip today, we will go for a walk around Wangjiang Park, and immerse in the beautiful nature there. In the evening, dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 7: Departure Chengdu to Shanghai (B)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then we transfer to the airport, take a flight to Shanghai. You will be accompanied by the hotel and take a rest. Dinner is on your own.
Day 8: Shanghai (B, L, D)
Commence your tour of Shanghai by visiting the Shanghai Museum. The Museum exhibits a massive collection of over 140,000 artifacts, presenting the full history and culture of the cosmopolitan city. Feel free to take a walk along The Bund, a well-preserved example of old Shanghai glamour. Walk Nanjing Road, the busiest shopping precinct in China.
Afterward, visit Yuyuan Garden to change the atmosphere and marvel at the stunning gardens; along the way, we take a stroll around the nearby Chenghuangmiao bazaars then visit the Shikumen Museum to get a true taste of the ancient Shanghai. If you want, you can wander the quieter streets of Dongping Road or Sinan Road in the Former French Concession. You might find out the essence of classic Shanghai.

Day 9: Goodbye Shanghai (B)
Have the last breakfast at the hotel. The tour guide and driver will meet you at the hotel and take you to the airport for the homecoming flight. The China vacation ends. Wish you enjoy our service.
