Full Itinerary
Day 1: Shanghai Arrival (B)
Welcome to Shanghai! Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel and served a special meal. The rest of your day is free for you to relax and refresh to get ready for your China exploration trip.
Day 2: Shanghai (B, L)
Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before discovering downtown Shanghai. Wander around the bustling streets of China’s largest metropolis, enjoy the sprawling waterfront architecture of the Bund and the Huangpu River, which certainly leave an authentic and memorable experience.
After having lunch, head to Nanjing Road, which is a major shopping street in Shanghai. Take a leisurely walk along the street to immerse in busiest retail precincts. Next, enjoy Shanghai’s soaring skyscrapers when you discover the financial district of Pudong on the east bank of the Huangpu River. We complete the day with a journey to the Jin Mao Tower- Shanghai’s tallest building.
When it gets dark, take a great chance to enjoy the world’s highest cocktail bars with panoramic views of the sunset from Cloud 9.
Day 3: Shanghai – Luzhi – Suzhou – Shanghai (B, L)
Having breakfast and departing in the early morning, your tour guide will take a private vehicle to reach the city of Suzhou. It is a perfect time to discover centuries-old water villages. On your way back, experience the ancient canals of Luzhi, which is famous for the “Venice of China”.
Enjoy lunch at the local restaurant and then explore the dynastic history of the Suzhou residential gardens. Afterward, stroll through the tranquil grounds of the 400-year old Lingering Garden while hearing its tale of destruction and revival. After that, experience a leisurely boat ride along the Grand Canal before transferring back to Shanghai for the overnight accommodation.
Day 4: Shanghai – Guilin (B, L)
After breakfast, start the morning with a visit to the stunning Yu Yuan Gardens in Shanghai’s Old City. Next, transfer to the old-world charm of Li Nong town, where offers you famous stops including Taipei, Banqiao District, Taoyuan, Keelung, and Yilan.
In the lunchtime, enjoy a special meal before embarking on the Buddhist traditions at the Jade Buddha Monastery and witness its collection of jade Buddha statues from Burma.
At the end of the day, transfer to the airport for your flight to Guilin.
Day 5: Guilin- Longsheng – Guilin (B, L)
Upon arrival in Guilin, you will be served breakfast before spending a full day to Longsheng. Start your journey today with hiking the centuries-old layers of rice terraces carved along the mountainside. Be amazed by the spectacular views before visiting the summit referred to as the “Dragon’s Backbone”.
After having lunch, transfer back to Guilin to refresh and enjoy some free time. In the evening, immerse in a relaxing night cruise as you sail along the Four Lakes. More interestingly, you also enjoy marvelous views of the city’s attractions lit up at night.
Day 6: Guilin – Yangshuo (B, L)
Start the morning today with a short drive to Yangshuo. Take your cruise along the Li River to enjoy breathtaking karst landscapes around and get a closer insight into local fishermen as well as their local lifestyle. After having lunch, enjoy some free time wandering along with the old town of Yangshuo.
In the evening, you have a great chance to enjoy the beautiful display of lights and theatre. It is a perfect combination of hundreds of local farmers, fishermen and dancers perform the famous “Impression Liu Sanjie” show with the stunningly lit backdrop of the Li River.
Day 7: Yangshuo – Guilin Airport – Xian (B)
Get up early, enjoy breakfast to get ready for the day exploring the spectacular landscapes surrounding Yangshuo with a natural masterpiece Moon Hill, tucked away in the hills south of Guilin. Afterward, stroll through the Silver Cave, which stretches 10km into the mountain.
As the sun begins to set, transfer back to Guilin for your flight to Xi’an.
Day 8: Xian (B, L, D)
Enjoy breakfast first before head to Shaanxi History Museum to explore more than 130,000 cultural relics. After that, take a short visit to the oldest wall in China - Xi’an City Wall. It is a chance for you to get a deeper understanding of the wall’s construction with historic tales of the Silk Road and the brutal invasions.
After lunchtime, wander along the bustling Muslim Quarter. Colorful stalls and delectable cuisine with distinctive dishes of Xi’an are highlight thing to taste and experience as set your foot in the Muslim Quarter.

Day 9: Xian – Beijing (B)
Today, you will enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then we begin with a visit to the famous Terracotta Warriors buried with the First Qin Emperor over 2,000 years ago. You can pick some unique souvenirs from the museum before heading to one of the most significant Buddhism sites in China - the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda.
After that, make your way to the airport for your flight to Beijing.
Day 10: Beijing (B, L, D)
Say hello to Beijing. Are you ready to discover marvelous Beijing? We start the day with scrumptious breakfast before taking a walk around Tiananmen Square, which is one of the largest public squares in the world and the most well-known historical sites in China. Continue your journey to the Forbidden City, which serves as the chief cultural and historical attractions of China. Discovering serene courtyards, different buildings and stately rooms is a must-see here. Afterward, climb the artificial coal hill behind it for breathtaking views of Beijing’s sprawling skyline.
After having lunch and a short break, pay a visit to the Summer Palace, which is the best-preserved imperial garden with a vast ensemble of lakes, gardens, and palaces in Beijing. You should not miss best things to do including taking a boat ride to witness an island temple, watching a traditional Chinese performance in the restored theater, exploring the recreated traditional shops by the river and much more.
Transfer back to the hotel in the evening for dinner and good sleep.
Day 11: Beijing (B, L)
Today, we spend all day on a journey to the Great Wall. Being a scenic section, however, with fewer tourists than Badaling, Mutianyu Great Wall is an ideal destination to this ancient wonder and especially favored by foreign travelers. Take a cable car or climb up into for spectacular view of the surrounding landscape
After having lunch, the next stops are the magnificent Bird Nest Stadium and the Water Cube.
Day 12: Beijing (B, L)
In the morning, enjoy breakfast before heading to the Temple of Heaven, an architectural masterpiece and UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is located in a huge park, therefore, you can see and admire the Chinese practicing Taijiquan, Qigong, and kung fu exercises
Enjoy lunch and take a short visit before visiting Beijing Zoo, a center of zoological research that studies and breeds rare animals from various continents. Specially, you can observe China’s most treasured national icon - the panda.
After that, take a short visit through Beijing’s narrow hutong alleys by rickshaw before dropping by a local household for a glimpse of daily life in the city.
Day 13: Beijing Departure (B)
After having breakfast, enjoy a relaxing time in the morning until transfer to the Beijing International Airport for onward flight to your home. We wish you to have unforgettable memories of your enchanting China trip.
