Day 1: Beijing Arrival (-)
Ni hao! Welcome to Beijing!
Say hello to Beijing! Upon arrival, you will be welcomed warmly in the arrivals hall by your private tour guide. Then, transfer you to the hotel to refresh and enjoy breakfast.
Day 2: The Temple of Heaven and the Forbidden City (B, L, D)
After having breakfast, start your trip with a visit to the Temple of Heaven, which is the most significant of Beijing’s imperial temples. In this morning, you will see local people here improve their health by doing exercise in their own unique ways.
Lunch will be served in the local restaurant with Chinese food before exploring Tian’anmen Square to witness the mysterious Forbidden City, which also known as the Palace Museum. Stroll along Forbidden City, you will have ample chances to get a deeper understanding of the history through numerous rare treasures, splendid painted decorations on royal architectural wonders and the grand halls.
As the sun begins to set, we transfer back to the hotel for dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 3: The Great Wall (B, L)
Wake up early in the morning, you will be served a delicious breakfast before traveling to the Simatai section of the Great Wall. Take the cable car up and then walk down the lakeside to enjoy stunning views around.
After lunch, walk around the Guibei Water Town to soak in a hot spring. More interestingly, when it gets dark, take a short visit to Simatai section of the Great Wall to enjoy superb the stunning night views.
Day 4: The Summer Palace (B, L)
After breakfast, we transfer back to Beijing city to discover the Summer Palace. More than just seeing a royal masterpiece of Chinese, it is an ideal destination for relaxation and retreat. Whether you immerse in some sun in the spring or summer or soak up in stunning landscapes in Autumn, the palace certainly makes for an amazing day.
In the lunchtime, we serve you a delicious lunch and taking the High-speed train to Xi’an. Stay overnight in Xian
Day 5: The Terracotta Warriors and a Traditional Cave Dwelling (B, L, D)
Get up early in the morning, enjoy breakfast, and then we will escort you to the Terracotta Army Museum for the mystery of the underground army discovery. After that, you have a great chance to explore a local craftsman’s cave dwelling and learn how to make a mini terracotta warrior.
We have lunch before exploring the ancient city wall.
Strolling along the wall to enjoy the beautiful view of the city or renting a bike to cycle around the wall makes your day more interesting. In the late afternoon, we head back to the hotel for dinner and relaxation.
Day 6: Xi’an City Highlights and Flight to Guilin (B, L)
Today, after having breakfast, Shaanxi History Museum and Big Wild Goose Pagoda are our destinations to discover more about China’s ancient history. Next, reaching the Muslim Quarter, wander through the alleys, and don’t forget to taste the local Muslim cuisines.
Afterward, we transfer you to the airport for your flight to Guilin. Upon arrival, your tour guide will pick you up to the hotel for a good rest and soft food.
Day 7: Longji Terraced Rice Fields and Ethnic Minority Culture (B, L, D)
Wake up, enjoy breakfast, and start your new day by discovering the Longji Terraced Rice Fields, which is considered as a source of the unique beauty of the country. Be ready to immerse in breathtaking rice paddies.
Afterward, we have lunch and then continue to experience the ethnic minority culture of China with many different ethnic groups and religions. Stay here to get a closer insight into the exotic lifestyles of the Yao minority in Longsheng. You will be amazed by their lifestyles and unique food like oil tea and bamboo rice. We complete the day with a special dinner with locals. Make bamboo rice and taste some oil tea certainly leave in your mind with amazing moments.
Day 8: Li River Cruise and Fan Painting (B, L)
Enjoy breakfast and take a cruise along the Li River. The eye-feasting landscapes and spectacular limestone peaks will never disappoint you. Discover more to see lumbering water buffalo cooling off in the river, farmers tending rice paddies as well as seeing graceful bamboo groves.
In lunchtime, we serve you special local cuisine and a short break. After that, drive you to the ancient town, where you get a more deeper understanding of fan painting.
You will have a chance to learn from local artist how to paint a traditional landscape on a paper fan. How interesting it is!
Finish an amazing day with leisure time to enjoy a tranquil evening in the hotel nearby countryside.
Day 9: Countryside Lifestyle Discovery - Shanghai (B, L)
Enjoy breakfast first to get ready to explore the lifestyle of the local people that offer you a great chance to get closer into the real countryside of China. After that, we take a ferry to have a short visit to the local market, where is the center of economic and social life.
After discovering the rural, we have a special Chinese cuisine and then we transfer you to the airport for a flight to Shanghai.
Day 10: Shanghai with Bund Discovery (B, L, D)
Say hello to the modern city – Shanghai. You will be served breakfast before exploring Shanghai with in-depth Bund culture. It is an ideal destination to experience new and old Shanghai. Wander along the Bund, you can see old architecture and breath-taking views of high-rise buildings while your tour guide telling stories about the ancient treasure of Shanghai. To know more about the traditional part, we will take you to the Yu Garden. All unique features including halls, ponds, pavilions, rockeries, and cloisters are highlights in the garden that you should not miss.
The last destination for you is Huangpu Park, which is a green area with green plants and lawn in the bustling place. Enjoy stunning view, a peaceful atmosphere and take beautiful photos. After that, you will enjoy lunch and then pay a visit to the highest building in China, Shanghai Tower. Be ready to fall in love with a panoramic view of Shanghai.
Day 11: Shanghai Departure (B)
