Day 1: Beijing Arrival

Upon your arrival in Beijing, a local guide will meet you at the airport exit, accompany you to your hotel, and assist you with settling in.
Day 2: Imperial Legacies and Local Community
Begin your journey at Tiananmen Square, a historic plaza framed by notable landmarks. Follow the central axis to explore the Forbidden City, an architectural marvel adorned with intricately carved beams and invaluable treasures. Behind its majestic exterior, uncover the many historical tales of emperors and concubines. Wander through the hutongs—narrow lanes filled with the vibrant culture of old Beijing—and visit a local household.
Day 3: Temple of Heaven & Great Wall
After breakfast, marvel at the Temple of Heaven, a site of deep cultural and historical significance. Then, make your way to the awe-inspiring Great Wall of Mutianyu. Ascend its formidable heights via a cable car, and take in the enchanting view as lush vegetation clings to the majestic stone walls. Day 4: Beijing – Xi’an
Continue your journey with a high-speed rail ride of approximately five hours to Xi'an. Upon your arrival at the station, your local guide and driver will be there, eagerly awaiting your arrival. They will then escort you from the station to your hotel for a smooth transfer.
Day 5: Terracotta Warriors & Bronze Chariot and Horses
Today, journey to the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum Museum, where you’ll encounter over 7,000 life-sized terracotta warriors, each meticulously sculpted with unique poses and expressions. Marvel at the array of bronze chariots, horses, and weaponry, all symbolizing the power of ancient China. Afterwards, return to the city center and soak up the lively atmosphere of Muslim Street, lined with diverse dining spots and craft shops.
Day 6: Xi’an – Chengdu
Enjoy your free morning before embarking on a high-speed train journey that will take approximately 4 hours to reach Chengdu. In Xi'an, your guide will drop you off at the station and provide instructions on how to use the high-speed train. Upon your arrival in Chengdu, a transfer service will be available to ensure you arrive at your hotel safely!
Day 7: Pandas, Wenshu Temples, and Ancient Delights in Chengdu
Depart for the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding before 8:30 am to maximize your opportunities to see the adorable pandas as they enjoy their breakfast feast. Following your visit, proceed to the charming Wenshu Temple, where you will be enveloped in the peaceful atmosphere of Buddhism. Take a moment to indulge in a cup of tea, which is a common practice among the locals. As the day continues, take a leisurely stroll around Jinli Old Street, where you can browse a variety of exotic local snacks and unique artworks.
Day 8: Chengdu – Shanghai
Today, you will be leaving Chengdu and traveling to Shanghai. Your guide in Chengdu will coordinate the timing based on your flight schedule and will accompany you on the convenient metro to the airport. Once you arrive in Shanghai, a local guide and driver will be there to ensure your safe transfer to your accommodation.
Day 9: Shanghai's Dynamic Blend: From Past to Present
Begin your journey through the vibrant city at the famous Bund, where you can still sense the remnants of old Shanghai from the early 1900s.
Amidst the towering skyscrapers and bright neon lights, you will find a tranquil oasis in traditional Chinese style—Yu Garden, filled with winding waterways, delicate plants, and intricate rock formations. Surrounding Yu Garden, various shops offer local delicacies and distinctive souvenirs.
