Day 01: Beijing Arrival (B, L)
Say hello to Beijing. Upon your touching down in this city, our tour guide and driver will be waiting to meet and escort you to the well- reserved hotel. Check-in and enjoy welcome breakfast and rest at leisure to be in good shape for the coming itinerary.
After savory lunch, follow the guide to Wangfujing, Beijing’s bustling market district. Wander through hundreds of colorful stalls before heading to Donghuamen Market where you can catch a sight of vendors hawking everything from giant centipedes to cooked seahorses on skewers.
Stroll along this pedestrian shopping strip and discover an old Beijing hidden in the maze of narrow hutongs before transferring back to the hotel.
Day 02: Beijing Discovery (B, L)
After the hearty breakfast at the hotel, today trip touring around highlighted destinations of Bejing begins with Tiananmen Square- one of the world’s largest public squares. Then, go further to pay a visit to the Forbidden City, once the royal residence of last ruling dynasties of China as well as the seat of Chinese political power for almost 500 years. Explore the serene courtyard and the palatial rooms before admiring the spectacular views of Beijing’s sprawling skylines from the top of artificial coal hill.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After that, get behind the wheels of Chinese rickshaw maneuvering through hutongs alleyways built since 13th centuries. Catch a glimpse of the peaceful local lifestyle among traditional courtyard houses out of the hustle and bustle of modern Beijing. Grab some street snacks and head back to the hotel for a good rest.
Day 3: Beijing (B, L)
Refresh yourself up with a hearty breakfast. Stay eager as the tour guide will come and drive you to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. Hiking on a World Heritage Site is not an everyday thing. On the way, tourists can witness the magnificent scenery of surrounding landscapes from this incredible human engineering and scope out old-aged watchtower, once used to spot Mongolian and Manchurian attackers.
Later, indulge in Beijing cuisine in a nearby restaurant and head to the Sacred Way, a hidden path leading to the 13 tombs of the Ming Emperors. Have a leisure afternoon strolling across the tranquil grounds of these 13 imperial tombs designed in the art of feng shui. The next destinations are remarkable Bird Nest Stadium and the Water Cube where you can take amazing photos.
After that, transfer back to your hotel and relax.
Day 4: Beijing (B, L, D)
The morning tour will begin with a visit to the Summer Palace, built by Emperor Qianlong as a gift to his mother in the 18th century after breakfast. Roam around the beautiful tranquil grounds in which the Chinese royal would spend the summer. Enjoy a refreshing beverage before walking through its renowned pavilions and having a pleasant boat ride in scenic lakes, consisting of Kunming Lake and the Seventeen-Arch Bridge. Continue to intricately-carved Marble Boat then hike to the top of Longevity Hill for panoramic views of the complex.
Take in some delicious food and head to the Temple of Heaven, another UNESCO World Heritage Site in the afternoon. Have an in-depth discovery into this masterpiece of 15th –century architecture, learn about the intricate design and stately prayer room before the magnificent imperial altar where emperors once prayed for good harvests. It is also fascinating to witness the spectacle of local people practicing daily taichi outside.
Have early dinner to indulge in a Kungfu show at the Beijing Red Theater. The show does not only introduce the Shaolin Kungfu style that is considered as the cradle of the Chinese Kungfu but also lesser-known Kungfu like “ Contortion” and “Drunken Boxing”. As the wonderful night comes to an end, back to the hotel and have a good sleep.
Day 5: Beijing - Xi’an (B, L)
Wake up to savor the breakfast then our guide will help you with the check-out process. Get on a drive to the airport for your flight to Xi’an. Upon your arrival, be met and escorted to the hotel in the city.
Later, pay a visit to the Xi’an City Wall, the oldest fortified structure in China erected in the 7th century. Traceback the history as listening to historic tales of the Silk Road and the brutal invasions that led to the wall’s construction as well as admiring the iconic view of the city while cycling around the wall.
Head to the bustling Muslim Quarter crammed with varied colorful stalls and have a taste of the excellent cuisine with Xian distinctive dishes. The afternoon tour continues with a visit to one of China’s most significant sites of Buddhist sites – the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda whose history dated back in the Tang Dynasty.
At the end of the day, enjoy a well-deserved night at your hotel after long day travel.
Day 6: Xi’an - Chengdu (B, L)
After hearty breakfast served in the hotel, follow the tour guide to explore one of the greatest archeological excavations of the 20th century – the famous Terracotta Army. The incredible collection of the lifelike soldier figures was buried with the first Qin Emperor over 2000 years ago in order to guard the tomb and protect him in the afterlife. Wander around and listen to the story hidden behind the clay statue army before having an exciting time to create a miniature terracotta warrior with your own hand.
As lunchtime is over, get ready for your flight to the next destination – Chengdu. Once touching down into the hometown of pandas, be met and transferred to the well- reserved hotel. Then take a relaxing stroll around the vibrant streets of this metropolis where is home to over 250 of China’s Fortune 500 companies and the birthplace of the ‘Nong Jia Le” or “happy rural homes” business model.
Later, get on a drive back to the hotel and relax at leisure.
Day 7: Chengdu - E’meishan (B, L)
Refresh yourself up with a savory breakfast then head to the Panda Conservation Centre and observe China’s cuddly national icon animal wandering or playing around the enclosures replicating the natural conditions. Not only owning world-class research facilities, but the Panda Centre is also a wonderful destination to get a closer look at these adorable black and white bears throughout the country. Continue to Jin Li Street both for taking in the bustling atmosphere at the oldest commercial strip in China and admiring one of the finest examples of traditional Chinese architecture originated from the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Enjoy the lunch before making your way to Leshan and boarding a river cruise to the famous Giant Buddha– the world’s largest stone Buddha. This extraordinary 71m-tall statue carved out of the stone cliff face is located at the confluence of the Minjiang, Dadu and Quingyi rivers. Take amazing photos with the backdrop of Mount Emei before moving on to E’meishan.

Day 8: E’meishan (B, L)
After savoring the breakfast, have a cable car ride up to the Golden Summit of Mount Emei, one of the Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains of China.
At the altitude of 3,000 meters above sea level, the peak offers tourists spectacular views forged by volcanic eruptions millions of years ago. Take some refreshment then hike through the forest to Wannian temple and perhaps catch a look of Tibetan Macaques that inhabit this area of the mountain. On the leisure hiking down, it is great to halt at one of the stalls and grab a wooden souvenir carved by local craftsmen before heading back to your hotel.
Rest in the hotel and have a good night.
Day 9: Emeishan - Dazu – Chongqing (B, L)
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast, followed by a drive to the quaint city of Dazu, located in the southeast of Sichuan province. Stroll along the steep hillside of Dazu where you’ll be amazed by various rock carvings. This carvings dating back from 9th to 13th-century depict a variety of subject matters including Buddhist, Taoist and Confucian themes. Continue hiking up to Longevity Temple and admiring the fascinating view of the carvings in the valley below.
Savor the lunch before transferring to Chongqing by car in the afternoon. Have a leisure time then board the ship for your coming 3-day cruise along the mighty Yangtze River. First night staying on board.
Day 10: Yangtze River – Feng Du (B, L, D)
Wake up to enjoy breakfast as catching the marvelous view of the morning in Yangtze River. Learn about the historical, economic and environmental importance of this Asia’s longest river before disembarking at Fengdu- the Ghost City. After lunch, follow the tour guide to witness various fantastic architectures, temples, statues, etc. and discover the mysteries about afterlife culture hidden in this famous city.
At the sunset, back to the vessels and enjoy the warmly welcome dinner before a good rest in your private cabin.
Day 11: Yangtze River – Little Three Gorges (B, L, D)
Refresh up with a savory breakfast served onboard. The highlights of today’s cruise trip are the marvelous sceneries in the renowned Little Three Gorges. In the morning, grab photos as the ship carefully sailing over the narrowest gorge of three - Qutang Gorge. Then reach Wushan where you will change for smaller boats to explore the beautiful Daning River or Shennong Stream after having lunch. Continue the trip and take in the fairyland- like sights in Wu Gorge with green mountains, impressive cliffs, and rock formation, as well as the spectacular Wushan 12 peaks on both banks of the river.
Have comfortable night feasting on the flavorful dinner and relaxing onboard.
Day 12: Yangtze River – Yi Chang – Shanghai (B, L)
Feast on breakfast while marveling at the significant sight of the longest gorge of three – the Xiling Gorge before sailing to the Three Gorges Dam. Be amazed by the majestic look of the world’s largest hydropower and most notable dam. Disembark and have a wonderful excursion in the Sandouping Village. Early in the afternoon, after lunch, you will arrive at the Yichang airport to board the flight to Shanghai.
As you touch down into this metropolis, our guide will come to take you to the hotel. Check-in and have time for the remainder of the day. It is still vitally significant, as the longest river in Asia – starting from the glaciers of the Qinghai Tiber be Plateau and flowing into the East China Sea, spanning over 6,000km. Day 13: Shanghai (B, L)
The morning in Shanghai begins with a flavorful breakfast. The today tour will take you to the highlights of the modern thriving city. Leisurely roam through the Bund promenade and witness the beautiful historical buildings reminding the tourists of the golden time of the Bund. A visit to the marvelous Yu Garden and the Shanghai Old Street following will offer the fascinating opportunity revealing the historical and traditional lifestyle of the Shanghainese.
Taste the best of Shanghai dishes at lunch before visiting the Shanghai Tower – the world’s second tallest skyscraper. Sip on a drink as admiring the panoramic view of the city and soaking up in the prosperous atmosphere.
Afterward, transfer back to the hotel for a good rest.
Day 14: Shanghai Departure (B)
