Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Beijing Arrival (D)
Welcome to Beijing - the dynamic city and capital of China! You will be met by the local tour guide and private driver on your arrival to Beijing Airport and accompanied to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. In case you want to explore nearby the hotel area, your tour guide can help you with some practical suggestions.

Day 2: Beijing (B, L, D)
Our plan today is to travel to Tian’anmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven. Wake up and have breakfast at the hotel. Then we gather at the lobby of the hotel to start visiting. First, we explore Tian’anmen Square - the world’s largest public square where is the hosting place for many historical events. Next, we stop at the famous Forbidden City or the Imperial Palace. This place is an impressive architectural complex, where the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties ruled (1420-1911). Experience the splendid architectural features with ceremonial courtyards, and private quarters.
The Temple of Heaven is a highlight of the trip which has been recognized by UNESCO. The Temple was served as the place for ancient Chinese emperors to make sacrifices to Heaven and prayed for bountiful harvests. The ritual demonstrates the supreme achievement of traditional Chinese architecture. Later in the afternoon, we come back to the hotel.
Lunch and dinner will be served with local cuisine a the hotel.
Time after dinner is at your leisure. We recommend the Legend of Kung Fu show at night, through which you can discover a great storyline and martial arts skills.
Day 3: Beijing (B, L, D)
In the morning, enjoy your breakfast at the hotel first. Then we will head out to the Great Wall and the Summer Palace.
Even those tourists who have never traveled to China, they still know about the reputation of the Great Wall. This is one of the most spectacular structures ever built by humans, it is said that the structure is the only one visible from space.
The Summer Palace is UNESCO-recognized as the largest imperial garden in the world. Emperors of successive dynasties built up a summer retreat of Chinese gardens and pavilions, around the tranquil waters of Kunming Lake.
Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Enjoy the Peking Duck!
At night watch a breathtaking acrobatic show at some theatre nearby.
Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an (B, D)
After breakfast, we pack up and check out the hotel. You will be transferred to the train station in Beijing. We get on the bullet train to Xi’an. Check-in the hotel before dinner here. Time at night is on your own.
Day 5: Xi'an (B, L, D)
Having breakfast at the hotel. Today, we pay a visit to the Museum of Terracotta Warriors and Horses, followed by Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and finally a ceramic & pottery workshop.
UNESCO recognized the Museum of Terracotta Warriors and Horses as one of the greatest archaeological discoveries in the world. You will have the chance to see more than 6000 terra cotta warriors with human sizes, archers, infantrymen, horses, and also bronze chariots. These things were built to guard the tomb of China's First Emperor for over 2,200 years. Lunch at a local restaurant.
The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a historical landmark since the Tang Dynasty. The seven-storey pagoda was initially constructed in 652 AD. The main function of the pagoda'sis to preserve sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought from India by the Buddhist translator, disciples, and travelers.
When the evening approaches, we come back to the hotel. Have a tasteful Dumpling Banquet then enjoy an exquisite traditional Tang Dynasty Show.
Day 6: Xi'an - Shanghai (B, L, D)
Breakfast at Xi’an, we head to the Ancient City Wall, one of the top oldest city walls in China and then return to the hotel. After that, you will be driven to the airport and transfer to Shanghai. Check-in the hotel in Shanghai and enjoy dinner here.

Day 7: Shanghai (B, L, D)
On your first day in Shanghai, wake up early and take a walk around the hotel area to sightsee the local lifestyles. Our route today are Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple, Shanghai Museum, Bund.
Reflecting on the ingenious design of the Ming and Qing dynasties, the Yu Garden has become a museum of Chinese ancient architecture.
The Jade Buddha Temple is the place to hold two precious jade Buddha statues that were brought from Burma. They are not only cultural relics but also gorgeous artworks. The Shanghai Museum displays a collection of 120,000 pieces of Chinese ancient treasures.
We end today at The Bund, which featured outstanding European colonial architectures, together with new skyscrapers and historical buildings in the center of Shanghai.
There are some options for recreation at night for you: Acrobatic Shows, a Huangpu River Night for the exquisite night view of Shanghai.
Day 8: Shanghai - Guilin (L, D)
Wake up and take an early flight from Shanghai to Guilin. Check-in hotel, lunch will be served for you. Afternoon, we transfer to Fubo Hill. Coming here, you will have the opportunity to explore the limestone karst landscape in Guilin.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 9: Guilin - Yangshuo (cruise) - Guilin (automobile) (B, L)
To make today more exciting, we will take a cruise ship from Guilin to Yangshuo; followed by transferring from Yangshuo to Guilin.
In the morning, have breakfast and meet your guide at the hotel. We transfer to get on board on a memorable Li River Cruise. Appreciate unique karst landscapes as well as verdant hills and water landscapes while we enjoy this 3-hour journey of China's best known natural scenery. Continue the cruising, we arrive at Yangshuo at noon enjoy lunch. Enjoy the rest of the day in the way you like.
Below are some ideas for leisure time in Yangshuo: Take a bamboo rafting on the Yulong River; taking a walking tour around the city; join in a 3-hour Chinese Cuisine Cookery Class.
Day 10: Guilin – Hong Kong (B, D)
Breakfast at the hotel then pack up and arrive at the airport. Take a flight to Hong Kong. Meet with our tour guide, you will be escorted to the downtown hotel. Check-in and take a rest here. We will have a taste of local cuisine at a restaurant.
Day 11: Hong Kong (L, D)
Today, we experience a half-day tour of Hong Kong Island. Along the way, tourists can visit the Victoria Peak on the one-way peak tram ride, the summit of the Hong Kong Island. Seize the chance to get a birds-eye view of the magnificent skyline of Victoria Harbor. Then, visit the Stanley Market followed by driving to the Repulse Bay. In the afternoon, we go discovering the Historic Fishing Village at Aberdeen with a sampan ride. Their lifestyle gives us a sharp contrast between traditional elements to the modern lifestyle of the high-rise communities.
Afterward, head off to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day before dinner.
Day 12: Hong Kong Departure (B)
Enjoy your last breakfast at the hotel. The tour guide and driver will pick you up and take you to the international airport in Hong Kong. Check your flight carefully. The service ends. We hope that you enjoy the China trip and we are delighted to see you again.
